Description

Ittetsu Bunka knife with 170 mm blade. This all-purpose blade is suitable for cutting fruits, vegetables, fish, meat and more. Blade is made of SLD steel by Hitachi. SLD is a cold work die steel with high abrasion resistance for general use, excellent harden-ability and minimal quench stress. Handle: ashtree / quince. Ittetsu knives are handmade in Echizen city, Japan. Hand wash with warm water and towel dry.

Ittetsu

Ittetsu knives are handcrafted in Echizen, Japan by various master blacksmiths. The knife blades are made of three-layer steel with an inner layer of Shirogi and are hardened to approximately 60 HRC. The octagonal grips are made of walnut and equipped with a pakka wood clip. The Kurouchi finish makes the knives look classically Japanese and a little more rustic. The sharpness and stability of the blade is excellent, so the good value for money of these high quality knives should be emphasized.
