Kunio Masutani is a blacksmith from the Japanese city of Echizen. His kitchen knives are distinguished by real Japanese quality at a low price. The master mainly forges knives with double-sided sharpening: santoku, nakiri and gyuto. For the manufacture of blades, Mr. Kunio Masutani uses high-carbon steels resistant to corrosion, such as VG10 and VG1. The knives of this master are equipped with both traditional wa-handles and Western ones made of stabilized wood. Kunio Masutani knives are an excellent option for those who are just starting their acquaintance with the world of Japanese knives.
