The master Saji Takeshi experiments with various forging techniques, including multi-layer Damascus steel and unique hardening methods, which ensures incredible strength and durability. Saji Takeshi knives do not have paper certificates, since each blade has a unique master's mark.

Saji-san mainly makes double bevel Japanese kitchen knives such as a chef's knife and santoku.

Master Saji has repeatedly received awards from the Fakui prefectural government and is a member of the Japanese guild of knife masters.
