Slip an index finger through the front ring nearest the blade and your pinky finger through the rear ring and close your fist to obtain a forward grip and vice versa for a reverse grip. Böker Scout Solingen folder was created on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Boker Manufactory. The Mayor of Solingen asked company if they could design a high-quality pocketknife in the city colors. He would like to be able to gift such a knife to guests and dignitaries on special occasions. The Böker company was were honored by the request and it did not take long to select the popular and versatile Boker Scout as the base model.The colors of the City of Solingen are a deep steel blue and golden yellow. Instead of a sintered nickel silver body, the Scout Solingen is the first to have a body of solid brass, solid-milled using CNC technology. Inspired by the great chestnut tree that once stood in front of the first Boker Tool Manufactory, company decided to use blue stabilized chestnut wood for the handle scales. To emphasize the centuries-old tradition of the City of Blades, Solingen, the blade is made from non-stainless C75 carbon steel and finished with an authentic acid wash. The fully handcrafted knife made by Boker Manufactory Solingen comes with the new version of the historic Boker tree symbol. Weight is 168 g.

Boker Club Knife Burlap is the elegant brother of the famous Boker sports knife, known in North America as the Camp Knife. With almost the same dimensions, however, the shape is continuous and is not interrupted by recesses for the tools. The characteristic metal bracket for attaching a knife chain is also missing from the Club Knife. In addition to the scales made of structured burlap micarta, the slipjoint knife is characterised by the use of brass liners and the carbon steel O1 as blade material, which is hardened to 60 HRC. To emphasise the authenticity of the knife, the blade is given a special acid-wash finish, which also protects it from harmful environmental influences. A tight spring holds the blade in open position as well as at 90 degrees. The decorative bolsters of the Club Knife are made of nickel silver and are decorated with a finely milled groove. The long nail nick, also called Long Pull, has fine serrations and thus allows the lighting of suitable matches. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen. Boker Club Knife Burlap weighs 67 g.
