Description

Petty knife handmade by Mutsumi Hinoura. Blade is made of Shirogami steel with iron clad. Handle - octagon walnut. Weight is 155 g. This  knife is not allowed to wash by dishwasher. Japanese kitchen knives have very hard, but thin blade. It is not allowed to cut by japanese chef knives bones and meat with bones, coconuts and other nuts, other hard products.

The Hinoura family is a very famous family of blacksmiths from Sanjo (Niigata). More than 120 years ago the family started making knives. Mutsumi Hinoura san is the 4th generation and is known worldwide for its excellent knives and is considered both in Japan and beyond as one of the best knife makers.
