The new version of the third generation of the Boker Leopard-Damascus pocketknife has a flipper and a thumbstud. Strenuous manual labor is needed to forge the tank's barrel steel combined with tool steel (chromium, manganese and vanadium alloy) and 1.3505 bearing steel into more than 300 layers of Damascus steel. The result is a Leopard Damascus blade with unmatched cutting properties and a hardness of 61 to 63 HRC. In each blade, the three different steel types are clearly visible. The handle of CNC-milled AlMgSi1 aluminum is hardcoat-anodized in gray, which creates an interesting contrast to the dark inlay of certified imported Grenadille. With a reversible clip (tip-up/tip-down) Comes with a frame case, certificate of authenticity and individual serial number. Leopard-Damascus III knife weighs 156 g.

This specialty steel is not available to the market because it was only used for the military. Böker was fortunate to acquire some amout for its exclusive products. A chromium-manganese and vanadium tool steel alloy was added to this extremely wear-resistant barrel steel. The result is a remarkably high hardness for Damascus steel (61-63 HRC). The pattern provided on the blade is labeled "Small Pyramid". Handle material is 6061-T6 aluminum and features certified imported Ziricote wood inlays. The combination of Tirpitz steel with carbon tool steel also makes for an extremely durable Damascus in 300 layers. With a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC, it is equal to any everyday task. The blade has a nail nick and is secured with a 1.5 mm thick linerlock. With a clip (tip-up). The knife comes with a high-quality transparent frame case with a certificate and serial number. The sister ship of the legendary Bismarck was the biggest battleship ever commissioned by the German Navy. Right after the end of World War II, a Norwegian company sent experts to salvage the ship's wreck off the coast of Norway, in order to make the highly alloyed steel available for civilian purposes. Norwegian divers retrieved parts of the armoring of the Tirpitz just for Böker. Our Damascus blacksmith took these pieces of living history and forged an exclusive and exceptional steel with a fascinating history. The mighty blade of hand-forged Damascus steel sports the pattern "Great Pyramid" in 300 layers, which makes this knife the highlight of any blade collection.
