Description

Tojiro VG10 Hammered Chef knife has 24 cm blade. The blade is constructed from VG10 and a san mai sandwich of a soft stainless steel. A simple ho wood handle with a D-shaped profile completes this well made and easy to maintain knife. Weight of Tojiro VG10 Hammered Chef knife is 275 g.
VG10 Hammered is a new line of Tojiro knives. VG10 is the most favored of all stainless steels in Japanese knife making. It was developed by the Takefu Specialty Steels Company so it only makes sense that most of the local smiths employ it.

MyGoodKnife is an official dealer of Tojiro. Tsubame-Sanjo, where the Tojiro factory is located, used to be the Japanese sword producing district and predecessors had studied and improved their technique over several generations. It has been then passed down to the present and transformed as cutlery manufacturing technique. The spirit of offering quality products to Shogun is however unchanged even today, but it is now to Tojiro customers instead of Shogun. It is honor of Tojiro to have an occasion to offer their products packed with the latest technologies to our customers around the world.
