Äärimmäisen laadukas ja upea veitsi. Pieni varoituksen sana, että sormilla ei sitten kannata mennä kokeilemaan veitsen terävyyttä. Nimittäin monet luulee tietävänsä, millainen on terävä veitsi. Voi tulla melkoisena yllätyksenä, kun osottautuu, ettei luulo ollutkaan tiedon väärti.

Takeshi Saji

The famous Japanese blacksmith master Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in the city of Takefu (Fakui province). This region is historically famous throughout Japan for its magnificent forged knives. Japanese knives hand-forged by master Saji Takeshi are the choice of professional chefs and collectors around the world.

The master experiments with various forging techniques, including multi-layer Damascus steel and unique hardening methods, which ensures incredible strength and durability. The knife handles are made of premium materials, such as ebony, bone, rosewood. Each knife comes in an individual box. Saji Takeshi knives do not have paper certificates, since each blade has a unique master's mark.

Saji-san mainly makes double bevel Japanese kitchen knives such as a chef's knife and santoku.

Master Saji has repeatedly received awards from the Fakui prefectural government and is a member of the Japanese guild of knife masters. In 1992, he was appointed “Traditional Master Craftsman” by the Japanese “Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry”. Takeshi Saji knives are the embodiment of Japanese traditions and quality.
