VG10 Steel Knives

Knives made of VG10 steel are resistant to corrosion and remain sharp for a long time. VG-10 (short for V-Gold No. 10) is a high—carbon steel alloyed with cobalt and molybdenum. The VG-10 was specially developed by Takefu Special Steel Co., Ltd. for the production of knives. Initially, only kitchen knives were made of VG10 steel, however, due to the excellent qualities of steel, many brands began to use it also for the manufacture of folding knives and knives with a fixed blade.
