The Tojiro Basic TBS-210 is a Japanese kitchen knife set comprising the F-317 Chef's knife and the compact F-318 Petty knife. Together, they handle most everyday kitchen tasks. The Chef's knife, featuring a 21 cm blade, is used for slicing meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit, as well as for chopping and mincing. The Petty knife, with its 15 cm blade, is ideal for precision work such as peeling and prepping produce or slicing smaller ingredients. This set covers essential kitchen needs without the need for numerous specialized knives. Both models feature a three-layer blade construction: a VG10 Japanese steel core sandwiched between layers of 13-Chrome stainless steel. The handles are crafted from a durable, multi-layered laminate material made of wood and synthetic resin. Designed for regular use, the set is suitable for both home and professional kitchens.
